Looking for cotton rope (1/4" to 1/2")

Post by WaaaghBoss »

Anyone know of a good source for cotton rope? Or by chance does anyone have about 200' or more of the stuff floating about? It is for a 15th C. riding caparison of braided rope. Should be pretty cool, but I gotta find a good source of rope without it costing $150!
Thanks!

We make baronial cords from Maysville Rug Filler, it is 100% cotton, I'm not sure if it is 1/4" thick, but it is close. It is available in quite a few places, and colors.

How sturdy are you wanting? If you are tacking it on as edging, it should work fine.
