Hi, sorry for the poor articulation. The visor is of course included. I do not know the technical term, however there was an additional plate the was riveted to the front of the helm that the visor then went over. I will fire off some pictures to your email tonight and hopefully that will better aid my explanation.

Best,

Hi Filip,

I was wondering if you still have the additional plate so it could be reattached?
Also interested in additional photos, which smith made it and where you are located, EU or US (since the liner was done in Poland)?

I do have the original plate however I did some work to it with the hope that it would not make contact with my chin. This failed to correct the issue, and so I removed it completely. Additionally, I found that it obstructed my breathing. The additional protection it may have offered a mounted man was more of an impediment to good performance for dismounted fighting. Also, I didn't think anything would get through 3mm of visor.

I am located in Ottawa, Canada. I do not recall the workshop this came out of, but Andrew Gavalsky here on AA brokered the transaction.

Will fire off some photos to you this evening.

Regards,
F

Bump with lower price and trades

$SPF minus padded liner. That's as low as the price is gonna go.

Trade option 1 - Russian, Mongol, Tatar helmet
Trade option 2 - bazubands + $$$

I think your keyboard didn't switch to number on a long hold (presuming touch screen phone)

That or SPF is a monetary unit I am unfamiliar with.
