A couple months ago, Andy from Ward Metal posted that he was selling loaner gauntlets for $90. He had to be paid by SCA check, and the gaunts would have "LOANER" stamped on them. Being knight marshal for a group without gauntlets I jumped on the deal. After getting Baronial approval I had a check sent out.
Unfortunately, it was in the middle of Andy's interstate move. The check was briefly stuck in Limbo, and when he did receive it, his old bank account had been closed out. I contacted him on the status of my order, and he informed me of the bank situation and asked if I could have another check drawn up for him. I said I would be glad to, but our next baronial meeting wouldn't be until the second week of September. He said that wouldn't be a problem, and he'd send the gaunts out to me, and I could send the payment after the meeting!!!
I got the gaunts yesterday, and they are great. I don't have any problem letting someone where these to fight pole or great weapon. Hell, if I didn't already have my own gaunts, I'd get a pair from him at full price.
Great product, awesome guy to deal with, very accommodating, great customer service. Highly recommended. A+++++
