Wow, those are beautiful. What gauge are they and what do they weigh in at?

They're 18 gauge, and the one I weighed was 39.2oz. They fit me OK, and I'm 6ft tall with a fairly athletic build. I'll be able to get more precise measurements for you this evening.

From the cuff to the elbow they're 9.25 inches.
The width at the bicep is 4.75 inches.
Width at the wrist is 3 inches.
The straps are latigo. The rivets are galvanized mild.

Either I'm misunderstanding, or that length seems totally off. My wife (5'6") has elbow to wrist bone at 9.5". Armor going over her arm is gonna be at least 10".Gaston de Clermont wrote:From the cuff to the elbow they're 9.25 inches.
My arm armor is more like 13" from cuff to elbow.

Re: FS Late 14th century spring stainless arms
I measured 9.25 with a ruler with the elbow straight. With a cloth measuring tape from the deepest part of the elbow to the cuff it's 10.5. If you picture the elbow cop as a triangle, the difference in the measurement is mostly the difference between the shorter base of the triangle vs. the hypotenuse. It's closer to 10.75 if you measure on the outside of the arm. When my elbow is seated into the cop, the wrist cuff touches the base of that knobby bone on the outside of my wrist, it doesn't go over it. My gauntlets cover that. Still, it sounds like these are smaller than you might want, Thomas.

Okay, got it.
I still think you have stubby Sir Vitus arms, though.
