F/S: Replica period coinage PRICES DROPPED!

Post by Iain (Bunny) Ruadh »

The holidays are coming up and I’m wanting to get some items back out into circulation and off my storage shelves. Parting with part of my period coinage horde (hand struck pewter by our very own Jehan de Pelham, XIV Mafioso Don).
Pick some up to to fill you purse in an appropriate manner, fill a dicing bag to gift to your brother-in-arms, or even issue some to your squires so they'll actually want to go to court and listen intently to the heralds as they play the betting game of "Pronounceable or Unpronounceable Name" at the back of the room!

Although metal prices have gone up, I’m going to stick with same prices he was asking when I purchased. I've chopped them so the individual prices should be at or below the bulk discount pricing!

I can take PayPal to be able to ship in time for the holidays. Cheques & money orders need to clear before shipping however. Free shipping included for $10+ worth of coins, otherwise add 2.00(US) for standard mail, 6.00 (US) for priority mail (shipping only to lower 48 states).

Pictures and prices can be found in the original thread HERE.

Current spare inventory on hand:

Edward I Pennies: 38 0 available @ 1.20/ea NOW 1/ea

Edward I Groats: 15 0 available @ 2.50/ea NOW 2/ea

Edward III Groats: 69 0 available @ 2.50/ea NOW 2/ea

Richard II Pennies: 23 0 available @ 1.20/ea NOW 1/ea

Richard II Half Groats: 372 0 available @ 1.75/ea NOW 1.25/ea

Henry VI Groats: 33 0 available @ 2.50/ea NOW 2/ea

Burgundian (Phillip the Good) Double Mites: 249 0 available @ 1.20/ea NOW 1/ea

Edward III Quarter Noble (gold): 30 0 available @ 6/ea NOW 5/ea

OR

*Buy the remaining stock and I'll knock off an additional 20% off the already reduced prices! Keep what you want and sell/give away the rest as largesse!

As the availability count goes down, I will update this post. Note: Current count reflects what is on hand. What has been PAID for reduces this count. Once payment is received/confirmed, I drop the count. I DO NOT drop the count based on inquiries though. Money talks and the coinage walks! I've had a lot of inquiries/interested PM/emails but the numbers have changed since they started coming in after the price drop. Just wanting folks to be warned!

To give an idea of their look:

A dozen puts you over the $10 threshold, so shipping is included! Sending over PM for shipping details.

Just a quick note. I'd really like to see these get a new home where they aren't collecting dust in a strongbox on a storage shelf. If there are any folks are interested in, please feel free to send me a note (via PM or email in profile) with you thoughts and an offer and we'll see what we can work out.

For the pile of coinage remaining, it would come out to 1372.90 at full(individual) and I'll throw in all the carrying bag/sacks for 'em!

I've PM'd over a discounted "outta town like a Scotsman with sheep n' a bottle of Woolite" price for ya too!

I'd be interested in a "one of each" package too, if Gregoire doesn't take them all (or doesn't mind)

A "One of Each" order would come up to 18.85 for the package. Please include the shipping address in the PayPal payment. PMs sent to those interested.

Any chance of a closeup picture of each coin available? Maybe a link to a fb album or something. I am thinking of gifts to my household members but dont now jack about this stuff.

I didn't want to clog up the thread with info that had already been put out in the original purchase thread (and what I was using for pricing basis), so I included the link in the body of the post. If you follow that, you'll find Jehan did a great job with close-ups, details on making and backgrounds of the coins.

Hmm ... with Willie's unnatural luck with the dice (ask Murdock he tells the story best), I'm afraid I can't let him go. But, a short term loan of his services could be included as part of such a purchase!

Another order received, please note the Richard II pennies have all been purchased. So a 'one of each' set is 17.65 now.

Also, to make it a bit easier to find, I've pulled Jehan's very handy 'Buy this many and get this many FREE' conversion tables from the original thread and posted below:

'Gold' coinage
$6 each up to 9
9 for $50
10-19 $5.50 each
20 for $100 ($5 each)

Groats
$2.50 each.
50 for $112.50 ($2.25 each).
100 for $200 ($2.00 each).

Half-Groats
$1.75 each.
50 for $80 ($1.60 each).
100 for $150 ($1.50 each).

Pennies
$1.20 each.
50 for $55 ($1.10 each)
100 for $100 ($1.00 each)

*edited to reflect the change in the 'A set of one of each style' packages, due to some being bought out quickly.

All paid orders are out and tracking #'s provided, aside from one from last night. It goes out this afternoon.

The inventory is shrinking, but the shipping is still FREE on any orders over 10 (US). Orders of multiples still enjoy pricing using Jehan's tables above (pulled from original offering thread).

Got my coins and am impressed with the shipping. Each one was taped to a sheet of card stock to prevent them rattling around or getting dinged up. Very happy with my purchase!

Bump for a great seller. :)

Just a quick bump/update on the count (with an order pending).

I will be at Val Day (Kalamazoo, MI) in the Midrealm on Saturday if folks would like to have me bring some along for pickup there.
I'll bring along some of the things from the other '4 sale/trade' threads as well.

Alas, I will not be able to attend Val Day due to unforeseen work issues. Mea Culpa!

Back to clearing out my work and hobby spaces and need to make my Jan 1st deadline! Holidays soon here too! I've dropped all the prices of the coins left (roughly 20%) with an offer for a 'buy the lot' for an additional 20%!

First one to claim the entire lot gets the best value! Take it all and be able to pay all your troops as well as your neighbors!

More coins have found new homes so count has been updated. There are some pending (groats and half groats in particular) but I will update as they are confirmed.

Remember, the additional 20% off (over the reduced price) for the entire remaining stock, is still in effect!

Going through another area of gear storage and I found a few more coins (to include some Richard II pennies!) and have updated the count currently on hand (and taking up a chunk of my work desk in bags and boxes!)

At at the moment, if you "Buy the Rest!", I'll take an additional $60+ off the already discounted prices! Over $325 worth of coinage for only $199, shipping included! *Updated to reflect current stock left on hand after latest purchase*

Only at Insane Iain's Crazy Coinage and Used Camel Emporium!!!

*Edited to update "Buy the Rest!" discount based on remaining coinage on hand.
