Personalized Plastidip Hand axes. sold

Post by eidelon »

I did a run of these last month and have two left that have not been personalized. If anyone is interested the basic ones come with something short that you want in runes on the blade itself for 125+shipping, other personalization cost a little bit more. They are SCA list legal, single handed axes. Made of leather, rawhide and foam, and covered in plastidip.

WOW!!!!...those are awesome!...if these are SCA they should be the standard for aesthetics, they look wicked good! Great job!

How are there in regards to transferring the plasti-dip onto others clothing?

Plasti-dip coverings have been used by LARP groups for a few years and I have not heard complaints of color transfers to clothing from them.

There is no transfer, that is what sealant is for ;)
Unlike blue, green, yellow, or any day-glow color duct tape.

PD is pretty durable; first I heard of it being used was as handle material for tools. It took off in the auto aftermarket world as a cheap alternative to painting or etching wheels- they come in different colors now, used to be just black. Easy application- works like a spray paint.

I just got mine today from the seller, it's the prettiest and most balanced weapon I've had for rattan fighting. I am currently drinking a beer with it hung on my neck like a pet.
