Historically patterned Pizans (14 century mail neck defence)

Post by Tom B. »

Is there any interest in historically patterned mail pizans?

As discussed in this thread Discussion Pizan vs Standard: what is the difference?

I am already producing several items, in 6mm riveted mail, based on patterns derived from extant items.
I have been looking to expand the items I offer and these seemed to be the next logical addition.

This time I have mostly been looking at art instead of extant items.
I have a couple of different ideas patterned out and hope to have the prototypes built in the next few weeks.

Feel free to let me know what you would be looking for in such an item.

I am aiming for the ones that are essentially a conical section, like these:

I'd love to have one, one day, but unfortunately my pockets are empty.

Perhaps I can tempt you to trade with pieces of armour :D?

I should have a couple of prototype pieces done in a couple of weeks (after completing my current comisions  ).

I will post pics once I have something.
