I made this helm as an experiment in combining styles.
The best description of this helm I've seen is "A spangen helm and a Corinthian had a baby and moved to Scandinavia."
You decide. The point is it's new, very solid, SCA legal and ready to ship. The top is made from 12g. and the back and sides are made from13g. stainless.
It will fit up to a 23 inch brow.
I'm asking $850.00 which includes shipping in the continental US.

Nice clean work. Not exactly historical, as you say, but definitely a cool pattern, and nice and compact. Looks like a very good style for SCA combat. Reminds me of the LoTR movie designs.
