I am offering up for sale 4 raising/grooving hammers. These are all heavy hammers for thick sheet stock rather than light jewlers hammers.
First is a nice one that is a bit longer that usual on each head and has a bit of downward curve that has been nice to work with, with the long handle this can generate serious force. $40 plus postage.
Second is one of two smith made raising hammers that must have been made by the same person ( I got them as a pair ). The first has narrower faces but with some good weight to it. I used this one for greave flaring before. It is stamped 11 by the eye on the top of it. $40 plus postage.
Third is the mate of the second. This one has fatter faces and again good weight that can generate decent force. It is stamped 13 ( there is a mis-struck 6 under the three ) and EHP on either side of the eye on top of the hammer. I always assumed that the numbers were used to keep them in some sort of sequence in a rack in shop. $40 plus postage.
Last is a Peddinghaus hammer that I bought back in the 90's ( it is stamped W.Germany ). It is my understanding that the quality has slipped a bit of late so this would be an older example predating that is true. $40 plus postage.
Rule in the pic on the left is 12 inches for scale.
Paypal, check or MO are fine.

Bumping this. I'm going to be listing a bunch more plus stakes and leather, some leather working tools and the like over the coming days.
