FS Small Stakes

Post by AL »

I am selling some of the small stakes from my shop.

1) 3/4 inch offset ball stake, offsets are tough to find. Great for planishing tight shapes like gauntlet knuckles and gaddlings or the very peak of deeper elbow cops $50 plus postage
2) another great one for gauntlet fingers. This stake is essentially part of the edge of a swage block with two half round channels one being 1 7/8 inches across, the other 2 1/8. $50 plus postage
3) nice small dishing cup, good for gauntlets or setting the small peaks in things like besagues $25 plus postage
4) I made this one specifically for doing Wisby type gauntlet knuckles but it turned out to be great for most gauntlet knuckles. $25 plus postage
5) dishing " block " the bottom of an especially deep acetalyne tank, cut off and packed with foam ( cuts out ringing ). Used this for everything from elbow and knee cops to spaulder and espauliers main plates. I don' think a day went but that I didn't use it at least once $25 plus postage.

Paypal, check or MO are fine.

AL - from your recent sales, it looks like you're retiring - is that true?

Don't you have enough stuff Rob. :P That is a nice snag!

Al, you are a very bad man for tempting us all with these before Pennsic. I've turned away as best I can but it has been hard! Hopefully that means that they will get to more needy homes rather than coming to my shop.

Been gone for two weeks. Working a great job with WAAAAYYY higher pay than hammer jockeying has made in years, full bennies and heaven forbid overtime ( armouring and overtime don't exist in the same sentence unless it's " if you're going to make armour for a living you will never get paid overtime ).
