ISO resources on Churburg armor

Post by macximus »

I am trying to find resources on the 14th century armor in the Churburg collection.
I have seen The Churburg Armoury and it is wonderful.
But i'd like to know more about some of these pieces and even about entire harnesses to put them in context.
Can anyone tell me some books to find?

Spam time =)
There's some information about those pieces on our facebook group (materials, weights, measurements, etc...)

Just browse the albums in the photos section and find whatever you are looking for. https://www.facebook.com/groups/576077609195451/

The data is taken from the following sources.

- Williams, Alan, The Knight and the Blast Furnace, Brill Academic Publishers, 2003
- Boccia, Lionello, L'Arte dell'Armatura in Italia, Bramante Editrice, 1967
- Scalini, Mario and Trapp, Oswald Graf, The Armoury of the Castle Churburg, Magnus Edizioni SpA, 1996
