Hello folks,
When I was still a lad and new to all of this stuff, I had aspirations to build a transitional harness based on the Romance of Alexander manuscript c. 1340. Dave Rylak/Cet was kind enough to craft a rather lovely visored bascinet with side-hinges and a spring-loaded catch based on details from the artwork, at a fraction of its regular cost. A few years later, in financial straits and having left behind my ambition, I sold it.
I let Dave down as far as finishing my project went, but I am still thankful for his as well as the help given to me by many others here over the years. I am curious if anyone remembers this helmet and may know who has it now, and whether or not its been properly equipped with a liner and aventail yet? I sold it to someone right here on the classified section... Happy Thanksgiving!

Anyone know where my old Cet bascinet went?

No, that was for an Armour & Castings bascinet, which I also completely forgot about! Perhaps I can dig up the thread... Thanks for checking.
Ah, here it is!

Looks like it was good old Murdock that took it off my hands. Where's that guy been lately?
