I know I've seen the images from manuscripts floating around here, and decided it might be interesting to compile what evidence there is depicting frogmouth helms being used by men-at-arms fighting on foot. Sadly, I'm having no luck in my searches. Most of these images are past my area of expertise and I have failed to find even one now that I'm looking for them!
Additionally, anyone with experience would be welcome to chime in about how realistic this is or is not, based on the real visibility offered in these helms. Cheers!
