To what, exactly? They do look like the pauldrons from that effigy- maybe not as long or far down as it is on the effigy, but it is close.

Depends on what you define as close vs representative. If the reasoning of a vendor naming it after a specific effigy resides in accuracy then details matter. A longer rerebrace, second rerebrace strap and better proportioning of the top plate would be warranted, in my opinion. The shoulders would actually work better too...

To whatever they actually match historically. These are upper arm cannons that also protect the shoulders. If one wore them, one would have no way to wear the upper cannons and look anything like the effigy.
