Er - which pics were they? Are we talking original documentation or reconstructions? There's a thread on this forum; "Pics of Norman SCA fighting kits!" that shows SCA legal reconstructions, or you could go for the photos from Hastings 2000 in the UK http://home.worldonline.dk/fjorside/Hastings2000/hasting1.htm or http://www.re-enact.com/Photos/Photopages9/Hastings%20Oct%202000/index.htm

For original documentation, you can't go past the Bayeux Tapestry
