I have to say that I found Eric very helpfull and accomodating. His prices are excellent, very competitive. I did some research on crossbows and ultimatly decided to go with him to make me one. He made exactly what I wanted, even though it differed slightly from his normal stock, and He delivered exactly when He said He would. Very impressed.
What I got was one of his latter period crossbows with a natural cherry tiller. I asked specificaly for some shaping on the sides of the tiller as most of his seemed very flat on the sides. He did this at no extra charge. I also wanted a prod that was signifigantly heavier than his norm. He accomodated that too, and it has a 125 pound prod. He had to use a signifigantly heavier string than normal to support this, but he did that at no extra charge.
Now, I don`t know a lot about crossbows, and have very little basis for comparison, but I am definitly pleased and wouldn`t hesitate to buy another product from him.
I also got a few slip on rubber blunts (to smack amorous coyotes with when they come too close to the bulldogs, so I can send them packing instead of killing them)and a dozen target bolts. These seem to be perfect, and I have shot a couple and they fly very well. This is the first time I have shot a crossbow, and I very much like it. It is also the first time I have succesfully hit the general area I was shooting at which was literaly the broad side of a barn (alright, slight egageration, it was a shed)
