Hello,
I am a beginner chainmaille maker, and I would like to know if any of you would be interested in trading wares. No money would be involved, just shipping charges. My work has not yet been perfected, and will most likely have design flaws or other mistakes (nothing horribly noticeable), and the only way I can get better is to make more chainmaille. If I keep making chainmaille, I will end up with a pile of it, and I would have no real use for it. I am not comfortable with selling my work just yet as I am not satisfied with the current quality, so I thought trading for other beginner items (probably having mistakes also) would be a way to go. I am interested in trading for plate armour, segmented armour, or weapons. If you are interested, reply to this post or email me and we can discuss a trade that will be fair, or we could get more details about each other's work. I have pictures of some of my work that I could send you, also.
Thanks,
Cat

Isn't it ridiculous how fast it piles up? My piles are full of completed pieces along with pieces that just didn't work out and I didn't feel like dismantling them. After a while, it becomes harder to justify spending more money to make another project that will just end up piled in the same place.

Thank you all for your interest in my post. Due to the number of emails I have gotten from this, I now have as many projects as I can handle. I truly did not expect so many people to be interested in trading. I honestly didn't think anyone would respond. However, if you are still interested in this kind of trade, let me know and I will see if I can find another maille maker to put in touch with you. Send me an email, or a PM, and I will post a message to a maille board and try to find you someone who wants to trade.
Thanks again,
Cat
