The length of an arming sword

I might have have put this in the wrong area in research and authenticity so excuse me for reposting it here in.

I have a reasonably short sword, the blade being about 63 cms in length. I started making it long before I knew anything acurate about sword fighting and wanted to know if it is an apropriate size for a sword at the turn of the 15th century. it is diamond not with a fuller I have yet to decide on pommel and crossguard shape, which I will be grinding out tomorrow. Would it be appropriate for an arming sword of that time?

Any tips, suggestions, photos or comments that might be helpful please throw them my way.
