The Wychurst Project

Regia Anglorum, Britain's foremost living history society, is now working on a project unique in the world of re-enactment... the construction of an 11th Century manorial estate in the heart of Blean Wood, 5 miles north of the medieval city of Canterbury.

This site provides an overview of the Wychurst Project. On it, you will find updates on the progress of the work, as well as short pictorial summaries of the different stages that have taken place to date.

I wish I lived in Britain. That will certainly be impressive when done, but more importantly, it will allow them to do more living history activities.

Looks like they're making good progress.
