Head bowl measures front to back: 9 inches + or –
Side to side: 7.5 inches + or –
Around: 25.875 inches + or –
Measures 4 inches from top of ear hole to intersection of back plate and tail.
Measures 7.5 inches from top opening of face cage to bottom, along the center strap (with the curve).

12 gauge construction. All plate seams welded inside and out.

Face cage is ¼ inch round bar, with ½ inch by 1/8 inch flat strap for center bar. Face cage is welded to cheek plates on inside edge.

½ inch by 1/8 inch flat strap is welded on inside to ‘join’ cheek plates and back plates under the ear holes.

Ear holes are less than 1 inch and do not allow 1 inch dowel to penetrate.

Hat ‘brim ‘ is 12 gauge plate, with ¼ inch round bar welded along outside edge. It’s not moving.

Wire brush finish, and coated with automotive wax to prevent rust.

This is brand new, and was built as a prototype for this style helm. I just wanted to get my ducks all lined up before I started one in stainless.
