Thomas, shoot me a copy too. I still have my old 2x4 on--I found it last night and I want to compare.

If you check with your local SCA packrat, you might find what you're looking for here:

A Barbarian Armor Stand Timoch of Nordhem Tournaments Illuminated Spr 90 (#94)

As described above, a bunch of 2x4's, none over 3' long, a bunch of hinges (one with a removable pin. Folds down to a lump about 3' x1' by 4".

Here's a picture of a very simple and portable stand.

Iain, I would like for a copy too, (bchboy1206@aol.com) but since you probably will be getting more requests it may just be easier to list the lengths of the 2x 4's and I am sure we could figure it out from there.

"Body" pole-length:

"Shoulder" poles-length:

"waist" poles-length:

"Waist Joint" poles-length:

"legs" pole-length:

"base poles"-length:

I really appreciate it.
Yours in service,
James of York
