Nubuck leather?

Post by Wil »

Hey all

Brettuns has blue Nubuck sides I was thinking of using as a foundation for a coat of plates. I don't really know what 'Nubuck' is, just looking for a deal. So, what can anyone tell me about Nubuck in an armouring context? Thanks,

Nubuck is a type of texture to the finished hide. It has a pebbled appearance. As long as the "pebble" aren't overly large, it looks kind of cool, just try to stay away from wierd colors. :)

Ah, no Prussian blue accented with hot pink?

I know, I know... it's too DiScafozo. But it's not Ultimate DiScafozo -- that would be leopard print on neon backgrounds, electric-blue accents...
