Meridies Crown list Results

Post by Ulrich »

The following is a breakdown of the list as best I remember it, I haven't checked it against the tape I made, but if there are any mistakes I'll be sure to correct them ASAP. Any name misspellings are also my fault, but I'm no herald. (if you find any mistakes please correct me.)

The first round I believe is correct and in order of the challenges. After that I believe the pairings to be correct, however they may bit a little out of order for exactly when in the round the specific bouts took place.

The first round was a challenge round, by reverse precidence. All of the challenges and challenge acceptances were well spoken and entertaining.

Double elimination, open weapon style, each bout best of 3, double kills count as a win and a loss for both combatants.

1st round
Lord Wolf vs Sir Artos = Sir Artos
Baron Thomas vs Duke Gareth = Duke Gareth
THL Ulrich vs Duke Boru = Duke Boru
THL Johann Brotmor vs Baron Borgar = Johann
Baron Olaf (Mongo) vs Sir Godwine = Baron Olaf
Baron Malachi (Tabor) vs Sir Shaltar = Sir Shaltar
THL Edward vs Count Seth = Count Seth
Count Maximillian vs Bye = Count Maximillian

2nd round
Sir Artos vs Duke Gareth = Sir Artos
Duke Boru vs THL Johann = Duke Boru
Baron Olaf vs Sir Shaltar = Baron Olaf
Count Seth vs Count Maximillian = Count Maximillian
Lord Wolf vs Bye = Lord Wolf
Baron Thomas vs THL Ulrich = THL Ulrich
Baron Borgar vs Sir Godwine = Sir Godwine
Baron Malachi vs THL Edward = Baron Malachi

3rd round
Sir Artos vs Duke Boru = Duke Boru
Baron Olaf vs Count Maximillian = Count Maximillian
Lord Wolf vs Count Seth = Count Seth
THL Ulrich vs Sir Shaltar = THL Ulrich
Sir Godwine vs THL Johann = Sir Godwine
Duke Gareth vs Baron Malachi = Duke Gareth

4th round
Duke Boru vs Count Maximillian = Duke Boru
Sir Artos vs Count Seth = Sir Artos
THL Ulrich vs Sir Godwine = Sir Godwine
Duke Gareth vs Baron Olaf = Duke Gareth

5th Round
Winners bracket - Duke Boru
Sir Artos vs Duke Gareth = Sir Artos
Sir Godwine vs Count Maximillian = Count Maximillian

6th Round
Winners bracket - Duke Boru
Sir Artos vs Count Maximillian = Count Maximillian

Finals
Duke Boru vs Count Maximillian = Count Maximillian

Bye Fighters were Lord Kenneth Grey, and Baron Voldimarr de Tameworthe

Of course HRH Bytor is better, funnier and can drink more. Good luck Your Highness, he is a handful.

I like seeing Max win (again). Not only is he a nice, unassuming guy, he also proves that you don't have to be big to be a phenominal fighter.

What's the name of the Knight in the kick-ass kit with the mail and a round shield?

HRH Max? just a guess that's who you have in mind. purple tunic with gold trim and a couple of animal looking guys on his shield looking at each other?

Hmm, not real sure who your talking about, the only Knight with a Round shield is HRH Maximillian, but he's wearing Titanium Lamellar.

there are 2 Knights in mail, one is Count Seth, also in purple/white with a centergrip , the other is Sir Artos, in red/white using a centergrip oval.

No, I have met Maximillian. He has a nice kit as well -- those boots are awesome.

Sir Artos is the one I meant -- thanks.

That's my knight. He does look quite spiff.

Meridies does do early period well.
