How about a picture, rather than a movie my computer says will take me 3+hrs to download? (Okay, my computer is busy doing other things, like uploading a 2m movie, but still... )

The fighter in question is a right hander, sword and round. Shield use is more arrgessive than most rounds up here in Antir.
...wearing
black boots,
golden yellow pants, with hidden knees
A blue tunic, with a visible red body braclet. It has yellow tree's on the kidneys, and something blue in the middle of the bracelet.
A falcon tabard is worn over the tunic, under the bracelet.
The helm appears to be a viking nasal helm with either a cloth or maille drape in the rear.
Arms are metal elbows with Leather(?) vambraces.
Hands are covered by guanlets. Andy Ward's mark 1's I think.
The shield is a round, blue on the inside and out, with a silver center boss. No heraldry.
The sword is a standard rattan cross guard, the crossguard itself is blue, with a thrusting tip.

Something about his movement makes me think of Sir Theodrik.
But there is no white belt. I don't think that the bodybraclet really counts as a belt, so I don't figure this guy as a squire.

It is NOT Sir Theo. This guy is WAY to skinny to Theo, plus Theo wears more visible armour and a cooler helm.

I don't recognize the guy, who ever it was did an excellent job of keeping his back to th camera even when he died!

He uses a loose "iron chicken" style stance.

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

Thanks for the help guys so far guys.

*edit* - Who ever he is he was not a knight, he had a Iren Medalion on but I don't remember if it was axes or spears. *shrug*

A,

I do have a picture, but I've no place to post it. The movie wasn't posted by me but by a friend, as a means of allowing me to download it.

Anyway, no worries, I was just curious if anyone knew who the guy was.

Thanks anyway,

-Ulrich

I think the Iron Medalion is the symbol of the Fyrdmen, and polling order of fighters.

A calontiri would know better.

Freiman,
If I'm not mistaken, the Iren medallions are roughly the same for the Huscarl and the Fryd, the difference is there are 2 axes for the Hus, and 2 spears for the Fyrd.

Sebastian, thanks here is the pic.

Just to clarify, it is Iren badge. There is the order of the Iren Fyrd (AoA level fighting award with spears on the badge.
and order of the Iren Hirth (Huscarl) (GoA level fighting award with axes on the badge.)

I've posted it to the Calonlist, and should know fairly shortly, or at least by the end of the day.
