Are you speaking of Silk Roads design armoury?
Or Templar Bob's Lamallar page?

(on Pennsic) I know that movie. It is the 13th warrior. A bunch of guys in armour that doesn't match itself or anybody elses, go on a trip and argue and get drunk and get laid and then fight Tuchux.

You'll find it at http://www.levantia.com.au/ - Tim changed his address.

I made a klivanion to his design, but with "offset" plates in adjoining rows (like in scale armour), per some ikons I brought to Tims attention. He kindly worked out a lacing pattern for me, and I'm very happy with the results - see http://www.geocities.com/egfroth/RomeWedding.jpg . There are some construction photos at http://www.angelfire.com/empire/egfroth/MyLamellar5.jpg and http://www.angelfire.com/empire/egfroth/MyLamellar2.jpg and http://www.angelfire.com/empire/egfroth/MyLamellar6.jpg as well as a rear view at http://www.angelfire.com/empire/egfroth/MyLamBack1.jpg which shows the secondary lacing system (I'd just started making it), which keeps the whole thing from opening up like a venetian blind when you bend over.

It's not really armour if you haven't bled on it.
