Norman nasal

Post by Blackoak »

Anyone know where I can buy brass nasals for a conical helmet. I'm looking for options, and would really be interested in decorative ones. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I believe Raymonds Quiet Press carries some nasals, though they could be perhaps a bit earlier than you are looking for. He does good stuff though.

I had looked at his site before, but it is a little early for me. I am more looking for a simple cruciform style. Raymond does beautiful work though. Thanks for the post. :)

A friend of mine has had two brass shoehorns hanging in his shop for years now, which he intends to make into helmet nasals someday. IMO they're prettymuch perfect. Look around ebay or google for brass shoehorns, with a little trimming and hammerwork I think these will fit the bill.
