Humility is the path to Divinity
Nicolai, Uilleag looks like a viking demon, that loki himself clad in mail and shoved out of some dark pit of hell...
I'll be there too. It was a really awesome experience last year and I hope to hold my own a little better in a very grueling bear pit (if it is the same as last year).

dulce periculum
I will be there with most of my household. I will be flying Melisent's Banner and have a formal deed with Ullieag scheduled there.
The format for the fighting is still being discussed but I think it will be similar to last years:
Four fields held by knights that unbelts challenge into. If the unbelt wins, a new knight comes in to face them.
These single combats will be broken up by a few mellees including a Ransom Mellee that I am sponsering.
Later that evening there will be a Chivalric Roundtable/Bardic that I am hosting as well.

My Lord Jehan, should I prove myself worthy on the Anvil of Virtue, I plan to trasport it in a carrying case and have it on display at every event Hotel de Byram attends, that I am present for until another should prove themselves worthy and relieve me of the joyous burden.
However, I will require a challenge in writing, I will specify the qualifications that needs be met to earn it, (they will mirror what has been already asked of the tennons). However, I plan to add a proviso that the next tennon cannot live in Atlantia. It was Sir Vitus' wish that the Couter should travel widely and thus earn great reknown for it's tennons and his good Squire Jehan and the goodly Sir Johannes who did start this quest.
So to that extent all goodly men of coat armour, read these words and know that should I prove worthy I shall be looking for a challenger. I will be posting what major events I plan on attending this year.
Should I not prove myself worthy on the Anvil of Virtue, I shall be adding a pair of replicated 14th century black cuir bouilli greaves as my ransom, so that no stain of dishonor should sully this great quest and the valient men who started this journey. I will present these to Lord Lachlann as surety before our deed at arms at Gulf Wars. Should I not prove worthy I will present him with the greaves so that he can in turn present them to you Jehan to bestow them as you see fit.
All of this do I swear by all I hold devine!

By the rood, you speak right well and give much pleasure in your ways! God keep you squire!
But you should be cautious about swearing too much, for if a famous man at arms desires to contend with you for the couter, and no foreign man at arms issues forth a suitable challenge, then you should not deny the worthy. There are many preaux and noble men at arms in your homelands.
The couter shall travel a perilous journey, and who can say who best to carry it forward until the trial proves it! Until now, no man has proved himself unworthy to carry it forward, and God willing, none will shrink away from those deeds worthy of it, but only increase honor and the pleasure of all who witness it.
If it come to pass that the wheel of fortune turn against you, Uilleag--for only cruel fate could dim the honor that you so clearly possess--and this ransom comes to me from it, rest assured that I shall make an emprise like the first of it, to make honor from your misfortune, and a greave shall travel the world to the west seeking men at arms willing to do honor to ladies and advance their own name and the spirit of deeds among our fellows!

I ask all, especially the right noble men of coat armour in my new homeland to please forgive my hasty words. I am so excited about this great deed of Arms with Lachlann, and I am still very new to my new home, so I claim a great amount of ignorance of all the great men of coat armour there.
In the 7 months I have lived here I have only been able to travel to 3 events and all of the wonderful people I have met are like a blur. Of course I shall consider all challengers, should I prove myself worthy, which is yet to be decided. Should they prove themselves worthy to pick up the gauntlet I shall throw down, and prove thier arms mighty against my person, then truly I shall bow to fate and allow the couter to move on.
I should not have let my haste and my pride to speak before I fully thought out my words, please forgive my haste and lack of courtesy to my new brother's and sisters in arms.

I plan on being there and giving what I've got. My time will be split between my 18 month old and you guys beating my japanese butt up and down the field. If the weather is acceptible my wife may play her pipes for a while. There is nothing that stirs the blood of a japanese persona as much as the bagpipes.

I will be attending this great and wonderous event, with my squire brothers and fellow man at arms in Sir Thomas of Calais' Household. As always I will enjoy the great company of my fellow brothers in arms.

You have to push the little yellow button to load it.
Around 13 knights have responsed that they will be fighting at ToC on the Chiv List. Another couple will be there to marshall since they are injuried.

Because my armoured kit won't do justice to that Tournament, and I believe it is more important for me as a white scarf to help out in other areas.
