their geocities site so you may need to put a ? after each url link. my arming coat and jack

arming coat is 4 layers of linen with a raw cotton on the body

jack is 20 layers heavy linen with 4 more layers in the center as a modisty pannel behind the lacing rings

whatya think?

Ok

Well Chuck I got your arming coat images off the site before the bandwidth gave out again. I cleaned them up and cropped them for more detail.

Since Chuck didn't mention it I will say his mother who used to do upholstery work made this for him. She even hand sewed the quilting. It is am amazing garment:

How many layers in the Jack?

20 layers in teh jack. there are 4 more layers about 6 inchs wide in the front of the jack as a modisty pannel, so 24 layers there ehhehe. and i believe its all 7.something linen. heavier than some breastplates ive worn
