Saphire Joust, Atlantia

Post by Broadway »

Who all's going to Saphire Joust?

Somebody take pictures, as I won't be able to make it after all. Work has kicked into overdrive, and I'll have to work the holiday weekend.

Ya'll have fun.

We're definitely planning on it, but I'll only be there on Saturday now.

And sadly, no one in my household is a shutterbug. I get what pictures I have of me from people posting their event photos.

Being a Queen's guard and fighting more has slown down my picture taking lately but I may get a few this weekend.

I'll be there as well.

We should all meet up, and have beers after the fighting. I'm riding with Haldan, so that's 2 archivers. What say the rest of you?

We'll be there, Saturday only. So, what's there that's interesting to take pictures of at this event? I'm teaching two classes - Jeff'll have to find something to do.

Look for us - I'll be the pregnant chick in the half unlaced dress. :D Probably green, maybe beige.

What two classes are you teaching?

My armor is various stages of dis-repair and rebuilding, so I won't be fighting :( Plenty of class time then! :D

I think they're the only two on Saturday:

11:00am A & S Class - Fingerloop Braiding
1:00pm A & S Class - Handmade Buttons, Buttonholes, and Eyelets

Come play with string! Fingerloop braids can be used for nifty armour points. :D

Good question sir! There should be one though! :D May have to start a new thread to get the proper attention on it. Off-Topic forum may be better.

:-P

Funny girl.

Seriously though, folks are welcome to stop by 'our' tent on the field. I think my protege is bringing a 12'x15' pavilion for shade (rain shelter?) use. I will probably hang out my painted banner.

Likewise, we will have the Dark Carnival on the field. Assuming it doesn't rain to the point of a total wash out, I will be singing and hosting hospitality saturday and sunday night.
