New Japanese (2 week project)

Post by raito »

Here's the latest evolution which was made for Master Cadwallon, primarily by me, for his use in the Japanese Battle at WW (which will be recounted on a thread elsewhere). It's a link because the file is fairly large (.5 meg or so).

All the armour you see in this picture took 2 weeks to make from start to finish. It is lacking neck protection, knees, and elbows. This was deliberate as I knew he had suitable ones to wear, and that his own would fit.

All I can say is WOW, that's a lot of lacing. You have ten times the patience that I do.

I saw it at the event, YRH. Beautifully done!
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. -Aristotle

I was there as well. When Cad was called forward to be the new champion for Her Royal Majesty Fina, the group broke out into spontaneous applause... I believe it was for the armor. Beautiful stuff, your highness.

I am fully confident in the use of barrels for armor, and that they can look damn good, too.
This is yet another example of fine craftsmanship!
