Diamond Wars is canceled!!

Post by Brandr »

A letter just posted by the Autocrats of the Small Gray Bear's Diamond Wars event that was planed for October 15,2005. -Brandr

Dear Friends,

Please be advised that Diamond Wars 2005 will not take place. Camp Couchdale, our Diamond Wars site has been transformed into an evacuation center for those who fled Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.

Our hearts and prayers remain with our friends in the affected areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. We pray that those with interrupted lives will find hope in the eyes, hearts, words, and acts of others.

We wish to thank our staff for all the time and energy invested in planning for this year's event. It would have been an exceptional event.

Please forward to other lists.

Forever In Service,
Genevote and Nadirah, Autocrats

Panhandle is still a go as far as I know. Nothing on the kingdom list here saying otherwise ...

Sorry, can't help the cancellation of Diamond Wars, Josh.

However if you would like come over play in the Barony that weekend we can set something up. You can even crash at my place. Plenty of room.

If decide you want to just PM me and we'll work it out.

This was going to be the first Diamond Wars I had fought at in years....sigh.
