Review of Darkmoore Armoury – by my wife Maureen

Post by Aaron »

Before I flew out on this little four-month long training class for work, I mailed out my gauntlets to Clay, and Andy Ward’s patterns for them. Andy gave me his blessing both verbally and in writing to forward them to anyone, and I forwarded them to Clay.

He in turn refurbished the gauntlets with new straps, padding and 8 inch (yes, I typed right!) cuffs to protect my wrists. I asked that they SPECIFICALLY NOT articulate to help protect my wrists*.

My wife called me up today, and left this message on my answering machine with a honeyed voice:

“Hi dear. Ah, dear? We’ve got a package here from POD…and are these things NICE! (insert purr here) I like em! I’ll talk with you later (deep feminine sigh). Bye-bye! I’m going to enjoy these new arms…â€

Glad to hear they arrived Aaron. I didn't do too much to them; I just added the big ol' cuff (which was more of a pain than I thought), strapped and padded them, and loosened up the articulation a bit. That right gauntlet should move a lot better now. Hope they work out for you.
