Selling Legs, Spaulders, Gorget, Sallet, and some metal

Post by Gilchrist McEwan »

I have been collecting armor to get started in this for a while, but, I realized that, although I'm very interested in this, I don't think I'm ever going to get into it. Well, anyway, I'm selling what I've collected so far.

Full legs, 5 piece articulation, 16 gauge mild, the back is sprayed with some kind of black stuff that i'm assuming keeps them from rusting, never been worn-120+shipping

Spade fan elbows, 5 piece articulation, big, 16 gauge mild, nice construction, again-never been worn-40+shipping

Gorget, kinda small, 16 gauge mild, 2 piece articulation-30+shipping

Gothic Fan Spaulders, 16 gauge mild steel, 5 piece articulation, VERY nice construction, there are three small holes in one of the spaulders leather which I did so I could add an extra piece of metal on the shoulders, I can leave it on or not, no big deal either way, the holes are neglagable (spelling?)-70+shipping

12/14 gauge lobster tail sallet, 5 piece articulation, spray painted crome, mild steel, with a removable grill face. It's never been worn, no rust, no strapping, the only thing that is different from the day I bought it it that it's painted silver to keep it from rusting-135+shipping

Ok, this last one is odd, but I figured I'd put it out there anyway. I have about 1500 1.75 by .75 inch pieces of EXTREMELY high quaility stainless steel, each piece has two holes drilled in them about .25 inches in from each side and about halfway from top to bottom (top to bottom being the .75 inch measure), edges are rounded, the gauge looks simililar to 16 gauge mild, but if put in a vice and beat on, these things still don't bend. I don't know if anyone could manage to use them for some kind of pattern to make armor but it's out there if anyone wants to buy. I'll take highest offer.

All prices are negotiable, but just letting it be known, that none of it has ever been worn and the prices are already greatly reduced

Thanks,

Christian

Christian,
I am curious, and all other members would probably say the same thing do you have any photos of these fine items.
I am particularly interested in the legs and helm.

thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,

Sorry about the lack of organization, I have numerous pictures to show for anyone interested I just don't know how to post them on this forum/website. I understand that there are probably many many references to how I can do that but it would be appreciated if I could simply email them to you. Thanks a lot!

Correction

Post by Gilchrist McEwan »

I'm making a correction on a misprint I had earlier- The total number of metal pieces is 1120. My apologies for the incorrect information.
