Here's one I've been meaning to finish for a while. It's finally getting a little attention again. It'll be done next week.

My wife quit her job (This was a good thing.) last week so we have a normal scheduled family life now! It's nice to have a little time to work on stuff again!
This helm is not being made for anyone specific and will be offered on the archive first, then off to ebay if no takers.

It will be finished out for SCA combat. It's mostly riveted, but will have a couple welds along the inside when done. It's 14 ga and has a decent mass to it. It's based LOOSLY off the saxon ridge helms, but modified a bit for SCA. The tail is more sloped and comes around more on the sides to close up gaps that might not pass marshal scrutiny. And of course, there will be some barwork. None the less, I think it will turn out pretty cool. It was pretty spiffy looking when I polished up the top way back, but I kinda like the oxidized copper as well. I decided to use steel on the ridge and rub it with a brass brush while hot. This leaves kind of a blued-bronze look on steel and is cool looking. I posted more over on the want ads board with regards to pricing and such.
