Acountability: Fighter practise 1/9 & 1/13

Post by Ringlancer »

I will be at Storvik practise on 1/9 and Bright Hills Practise on 1/13.
I have a shift change at work. From January til June, I have Monday, Friday and Saturdays off. I am looking orward to taking advantage of it.

Please, help me knock the rust off; I want to learn and get better.

We may make it, at least one week. We are trying to get there regularly, given that hubby has to get up at 3am Tuesday am and it is about an hour and a half drive. Got there 2 weeks before Christmas and hoping to make it on the second. Although I am sure we are at least as rusty as you. - It's been a lousy few years for fighting.

So - didja make it? I was there - girl in ancient/grungy lammellar - trying desperately to fight a fair bit and not pass out for lack of fitness. I got a couple of bruises for my efforts, though the worst by far was from being stupid earlier in the day and falling off a stump. LOT of people there last night.

Not this time. :(

I had an extreme case of husband and daddy-itis. I had to assemble two beds before bedtime.

Also, we received a call from my brother in law. He was gifting us a piano, and the delivery man was coming Tuesday around noon.

Our house isn't as bad as the "typical SCA house", but it is close. We had to make room for a piano.

I couldn't leave my wife to do all that alone, although she would have let me. Husband/Daddy duty comes first.

Sounds happy. I believe the next time we'll be up to Storvik practice is the 23rd. Life happens, and pianos are good.
