With out actually handleing them I couldn't swear to it but I don't see why not. If your concerned with the fingers the lames don't have to touch the rattan they just need some kind of padding between them & the finger. IMHO a big improvement over the legal hockey glove.

IMHO, YES, they are SCA legal. Our Kingdom Earl Marshal has a set similar and his are fine as are a number of others.
I would not want a huge hit on the fingers in them, but I imagine they are still far far superior to hockey gloves.
