the 973, top one. what do you guys think of this helmet? is it too good to be true? does anyone have one?

It's a cheap rendition of the Gjermundbu helmet.

You get what you pay for.

I didnt click the link, but it looks plastic to me. Decent boffer or costume helmet, but I wouldnt be caught dead in it for re-enactment.
In my experience, helms like that have extremely poor dimensions and fit.

One of my group picked one up.
- Liner is plastic, of the sort that is found in construction hardhats, no lie.
- The body is steel, fairly thin - not SCA combat grade at any rate. None of the metal is hand-worked. It's painted black.
