Ustad is good, but not that good..

Lutr as a wildcard, Bardolph, Palymar, Finn.
Hark the moaning gulls around him,
Hark their shuddering calls of terror
At his fearful fighting pæan.

Their Graces Duke Finn and Duke Palymar, and Sirs Ustad And Ivar...

No matter what this is a great list and hard to choose from.

Good luck to all of them

Finn, Dag, Palymar and Bardolph are the easy picks -

Lutr has finished second in the last 2 Crown.

Ivar is always dangerous.

If he is on his game, look out for Dilan.

Theo is always a tough fight.

Really the final 4 could be up for grabs!

Saw Lutr at Candlemas. He is so fast it is like you are watching some sort of special effect.

The unbelts are very high quality also, I know Rutger pretty good and practice with Sivrid and Stein.
I think Duke Dag will keep the Crown safely in Pentamere, away from the "scourges of the south" (I think this might get me some pain  )

Ok, was reading through the Legio thread. What's an "option shot"?

I am pretty sure it is actually a set of shots that all look the sam in the start, but at a certain point can be turned into any one of several shots, whichever opens up.

*shivers* It's gonna be a great crown.

Theo rocks hard. Watching him make second in crown a couple years ago was sweeet.

Captain Rutgur made the final four last time and he just keeps getting more disciplined.

Just to prop my local boys. :) Of course, Edward Brackenburye's fighting for my twin sister, so I'll be placing my bets on the long shot. :)

Watching Lutr fight is like watching Neo get all "matrix" and stuff...so I gotta put him in top 4.... but I think this time it will be experience and efficency over youth and speed.

Gotta go with Lutr, Finn, Palymar, and Ivar in the final 4

finals: Finn and Palymar with Finn winning two out of three long fights

the only spoiler here is Duke Dag.... yes he is older now...but still has chops...I know...I fight him often.... and he has redoubled his efforts to win the Crown of the Middle in order to place it on the brow of his Lady wife who has never reigned before....so he is skilled and talented as ever and HIGHLY motivated.....a dangerous combination... and his name could easily replace any of the previous 4 should the fates fall his way.
