nasal piece question

On the conical and other celtic helms, is the nasal plate always necessarily the 'rectangular' shape? Or is there evidence of decrotive or ornate ones? I.E.-- etched brass, bronze or gold; sculpted or cast?

If I recall some had inlay and some had engraving.
The shapes seem to change also, as well as the eyebrows.
