Hi All,
I have some old pieces of armour for sale that have just been taking up space;
breastplate/ backplate with fauld for a thin woman
14ga great helm, russet finish with lining for jousting/ or sca combat
high pointed bascinet for very tiny head 16 ga. -combat archery?
Hardened steel great helm 14 ga with visor. meant to be worn over bascinet.
I also have a full gothic armour with a stand, and in great condition that I'm trying to sell. You can see images of it at my website: www.wassonartistry.com under the forsale section.
I will post more information as I have time to get things together. Such as measurements prices and more pictures.

Hi All,
I have measurements and prices for these pieces:
Breastplate and backplate for a woman measures 27" circumference at the waist (where fauld and breastplate meet). 35-36" circumference at the hips and 32" cir. at the chest. from the roll at the neck to the waist measures 12 ". At the waist on the inside from side to side measures 9.5 " and 7.5 " from front to back. When I made it I couldn't believe the measurements, but it fit her well, I made it for my wife. Price: $400.00 plus shipping. I might also be able to find the tassets that go with it --they are rectangular. the whole cuirass is of an early 15th cen. type.
The High pointed bascinet fits a person with a skull circumference of 20.5 inches. Side to side is 5.5" and front to back is 7" ( space between the padding). this bascinet has a russet finish and is quite dented courtesy of Sir Stephen Von Dresden. It was originally made of 14ga mild steel but I would call it 16 ga now. It is suitable for a scout or someone doing combat archery. Price: $225.00 plus shipping. It has nice set of hand made vervailles running along the edge and a lining of foam covered in linen and stitched in to holes running along the edge. You could discard the visor add an aventaille, bang out the dents and you would have a good LH bascinet. Or maybe you keep the dents for character? ..... Anyway! next item.
Great helm of mild steel, russet finish, with a fabric covered padding of foam for sca combat or jousting. --I've used it for both. It fits a narrow head that measures about 21.5 in cir. Price: $275.00 plus shipping.
The Great helm of 1050 hardened steel with a satin finish has a visor that pivots. there is lining strap rivetted to the inside for the attachment of a lining or padding. This helm was built for jousting and is quite roomy. I was able to wear it over a bascinet, and would of done so for jousting but my wife convinced me otherwise. (she thought it was silly to wear a helmet over a helmet.) I never quite finished it the way I thought it should be finished. From the shoulders to the crown it measures about 12 inches. it is about 7.5 " wide. There are some holes on the top for attachment of a crest. I would sell it for $400.00 as is. Although if someone wanted me to finish it out: better visor pivots, a catch to hold the visor down, a loop on the front to attach to your cuirass, ect. I would be willing to work with you .

Well, the bascinet would probably fit me, but I can't justify spending the money since I'm not in the SCA and it would just sit around in my closet. I was kinda hoping it was REAL cheap, but that was wishful thinking. 
It would have been fun to get rid of the grill, polish it up, and add a nice aventail though. It's hard for me to resist a restoration project, but I am afraid I must at this point even though I am sure it will be difficult to find another one (already made) that fits me.

I should like to point out that in full armor, Jeff's lady bears the closest resemblance to a 14th century tomb effigy figure of anyone living I've seen. 
And all of Jeff's work is well worth his asking price. If I were not the circumference I am, I'd have snapped up some of this myself.
