WTS: Japanese-style lace

Post by Mike F »

I have a fairly sizable amount of lace which would work very well for a Japanese harness. I'm cleaning and in bad financial shape, so I'd like to get rid of it. I'll have to look at the colors, but red and white are both in there, and the rolls were originally 144 yards each, and the most used was possibly three or four yards of the red. It is 3/8" wide and a single layer braid.

I'd like $40 per roll (or ~144 yards, one roll may be 288, I'll have to check) and will get availible colors if people are interested.

I'd prefer to not piece it out by yardage, but we'll see what response is like.

I only have one spool of red, two of maroon, one of orange and one 288 yard spool of willow.

As much as I didn't really want to do so, I can also order from them still, so if someone really wants a bundle (say, five or more spools, depending on thickness) I can order them and pass them along under retail. Not much, as my wholesale isn't that much of a break, but I like you guys. :)

I just want to be rid of this stuff, but if I make money in the meantime, more power to me. :)

Interesting :)

I might very well be interested. Is there any chance you could scan the braid so we can take a look at it? If not, perhaps an idea of what vendor it was purchased from, so I can scout on my end? Also, what is the material? Nylon, Cotton? 3/8" Flat braid in Nylon is standard for Japanese harnesses (well, for those not going with super fat lacing.)

Depending on the makeup, I'm very much interested in the Maroon, and possibly the red or willow. Heck, all of it, I guess :) But definately the 2 maroon first.

Sorry, Eff. We did lose touch on that, didn't we? :)

It's possible another group needs some lace, and if they do, I can order some more for you if Smriggin snaps this up. It's just the minimum order that kills me.

No prob.

Just let me know what's left (esp. maroon and willow!) and I'll scarf.
