Floating Gothic Elbows

Does anyone have pics of a floating gothic elbow taken front-on? I'm trying to see the curvature for the fitting of the arm. I made a leather one more or less off the patter shown here, just to see what it would do.

I'm thinking maybe it came out looking a bit smooshed. This site doesn't show the curvature I'm trying to see, so I can't really tell if I got it right or even close. I really want to try and make Landschnecht floaters like on some of the Almain type harnesses, so here is where I am starting.
