Sort of shamless Plugg for NE Rennies Forum, **FORGET IT

Post by MJBlazek »

After talking in private with members. I am removing this from the forum.

I suppose I chose the wrong place for it. And appologise.

Forget I ever said anything about it.

While I thank you for pointing that out, I do have to ask that if anybody else sees anything they feel is lacking on the NE rennies forum, to please respond to me in private. This thread wasnt started to look at the faults of the new forum, rather it was started to tell like minded indaviduals who may be interested that there is a new place to post information of events.

Thanks.
Matt

Regardless of why you started this thread, that poll looks dumb-as-hell.

This is what I wanted to combat, which I explained to Fire Stryker in a personal message.
If you think it looks dumb as hell, thank you for your input. PLease tell me in private. I do not want this thread to turn into a Renn Faire vs. SCA/LH battle.
The NE Rennies Forum was put up as a place for like minded people to communicate, have fun, and build a community. We thought we would broaden our scope to all of those interested in Medieval/Renn, and give them an appropriate place to "enlighten" the rest of us on thier goings on, and upcoming events.

If I have placed this opportunity onto the wrong forum, I aplogise, and will move on.

If you have problems of the site, please talk to me in private and I will do my best to see that it is righted.
If you are just posting because you don't like Renn Faires, or Faire folk, and are trying to draw negative attentoin to the site. Please refrain.

Thankyou.
Matt

My intent was to help, not hinder Matt's efforts. It seems to be on the verge of going awry :?. One of the reasons I "retracted" my initial post.

Let's not start yet another "let's tear it down" party, which seems to happen all too frequently.

Matt, the forum seems very event oriented which is a very good idea.

Pax,

Jenn

Thanks Jenn,

And thanks to your advice I have contacted the person in charge of the front page and they are going to work on re-wording the poll!
Thanks again.

There was nothing anti-renn. with what I said... it was anti-dumb-poll.
