Hey Armadillo:

I just wanted to publically thank you for your contributions to the Archive here. I think you are very well written and very knowledgeable in the field.

I think your responses to folks are always well measured and well put.

I heartily agree with Steve.

I also think you must be about 350 years old.

That's the only way I can figure that you know so much.

I would make a joke about Armadillo being an Immortal and me seeking his head to gain his knowledge . . . but the last Highlander was so awful, it's not much fun as a pop culture reference anymore.
But I will second the Kudos to Armadillo. His posts are excellent reading. I've always been curious, why the name Armadillo?

Yeah, Armadillo has always been an informative guy.

Robert, he calls himself that because armadillos have a thick body armor that covers themself, you know that Image

Lordy. I went out on a date last weekend and saw the latest "Highlander". I knew it was going to be bad (they have been steadily and drastically worse since the original) but the girlfriend wanted to see it so...

Gawd it sucked.

It's hard to visualize an "immortal" who doesn't age when you look at Christopher Lambert's makeup on-screen.

Plus the whole premise just sucked.

The original Highlander was awesome. It was also not designed to have a sequel.

I love how at the beginning of "Endgame" how they say that the origin of the Immortals is unknown.

Of course it's known! They came from the planet Ziest! (ya right)

Steve, Matt, Robert, PoD,

Thank you for your kind comments. I'm glad that I can contribute here.

Armadillo is my kindred native american animal spirit. A burrowing animal with a tough hide. Rarely do people take notice the armadillo until it is beneath the tire of their auto.

Here, however, the Armadillo commands not only attention, but of course, respect.

Thanks from me, too.
