Valsgarde 6 Helm

Looking for a bit of info on the Valsgarde 6 helm. Can anyone with a good reproduction or first hand experience of the helm tell me what the width of the brow and cross bands are? If you can break it down into proportions of width of band to head circumference that would be even more helpful. Also, how much clearence between the top of the head and inside top of the helm be? Again proportions would work best.

I'm making one for a 7-year old. That's why the proportions would be better. I'll take hard measurements, tho. Can anyone tell me the average head size of the day?
