Atlantia in the 70's

Post by BdeB »

Mistress Tannis of Tir-Y-don has posted some pictures (at the bottom of the page) from events in the 1970's including early pennsics.

Wow. Pennsic 4 wasn't even a good size fighter practice. Cool. Thanks.

Wow, I feel so...young.

What a lot of pictures! This woman gets around. She even captured me with HRM Denise at Challenge of the Hearts a couple of years ago. Amazing. That was a hot day.

Is that the one where all it DID was rain?

Lenora often regales me with tales of that pennsic.. whichever was the first with female fighters..

There are lots of photo's here going back to the 70's and 60's even. You have to sift around a bit for them though as not all events have photo's. It might be easier to go through the who's who.

Mistress Tannis's pictures are mostly from the 70's. Lots of folks contribute to that TYD site...

Hey they had a picture of me in there, well kind of. In one of the bridge battle pictures from pennsic 33 i can be seen being crushed in a valiant effort to hold back the lines from my knees (ok so i got legged then promptly ran over, but that sounded alot better.) Yay, my fifteen minutes has arrived...
