Its a gorget, since I have to wear one now. :) And if I have to wear one, i want it to look spiffy. :p

Thanks again Torvaldr, love the end product. Will look good.

Now just have to send my shield back to Windrose, and get one with the 7" bowl, since the 5.5" bowl is to small to use with my finger gauntlets.

Got my rivetted chain on Friday.

Yeah, spent a few weeks trying to figure out how I was going to do a gorget. Was going to try the red neck scarf around something, like I have seen in statues and such.

Also read some things, that it could be possible, that when the romans left, and even while thier, some of the britons might of worn torqs still. Thought it was a good concept, and would look good.

Robb.

Seriously. Before you throw in the towel on this wonderful art, you ought to do a detailed, minute by minute photographic how too. Show the process from raw materials to finish. Then give those tired hands a rest?

:)  :?:

A tutorial is not a bad idea. I still have one or two projects I promised to finish and I could take some pics and such as I go. Tooling is not difficult but it really can cramp the fingers.
