Want to buy: Inexspensive starter kit.

Post by Damon »

I have a friend who is getting back into the game after 15 years and is tight on cash. I told him I would buy him a starter kit. I have heard of armourers who claim to do like mild steel elbows, knees, some kind of gorget and a helm fairly inexspensive. I can make his leg, arms, and chest out of half a cow.

If you have a starter kit and a good AA rep post a link I would like to take a look at it. Or if you know of someone post a link. It doesnt have to be what I posted above any kind of starter kit will do.

Thank you for your time. :D

gorget, elbows and knees? Cheap, good, fast as hell? You want Stonekeep. I believe he even carries some Otto helms in stock.

Elbows 9$ Stonekeep Pricebeater
Knees 10$ Stonekeep Pricebeater
Gorget 35$ either Stonekeep/ or Torvaldr Gorget
Helm you can go 60$ for a nasty Ashcroft Baker helm or 70$ for a truehearth Greathelm or 60-145$ for a www.zweihammer.com Topfhelm kit! the 145 is stainless and 60 is mild for about 125$ he can do the hard stuff and roll out the rest yourself and boom sexy helm on the cheap!

Not the best but its an option. Shipping might kill it though

Look under kits towards the bottom of the page.

I've got a gorget that's $15 new. Basically the collar gorget on my site just without the flared edges.

Also consider vulcan's forge for knees and elbows
