looking for an SCA combat legal version of this helm (on the cover of the Osprey Hospitaller book) or a lead on how to find such a helm. Sorry for the cruddy picture of the book.[/img]

I have one that was made by Steel Mastery. It is awesome, solid and breathes well. Since they have done one I would contact them.

Yep...sold it to this good knight..was a tad small in the neck for me..awsome helmet..they do it all well. I am fighting in this kettle they made me...hospitaller accurate also.

Main difference is that one (which is based on the effigy of St. Justina) has flutes, instead of being a spangen-top. Close enough though, for a guy on a budget.
