I giggled at first when I read the title (the bascinet for sale)...

Then I realized it warrents the "The"

It is indeed -the- bascinet.

Hello))
the price USD 637 . I think that 23" is 57,5cm. I think that 23" is ok, because in helmet is soft lining.

I would say that 23" is 57,5cm - 1" is 2,5cm -is it true?

This is one of my top 3 all time favorite helms ever. I am in love with this helmet. It's stunning.

BTW, for units conversion type this into Google: "convert 23cm to inches"

It will tell you this: 57 centimeters = 22.4409449 inches

Sample link.

I wish I could afford it just to show it off... Drool.......
But it would be a waste cause It would end up just being shown off and that helm really deserves someone to go out and wear it.

That is an amazing helm. Question about the grill. Is that purely an SCA thing, or are there historical examples of this sort? (forgive my ignorance :))

That's a sweet helm. On the other hand, 1.5 mm is 16 gauge mild steel? I don't think I'd trust my head to that for SCA combat.

2.0 mm would be great.

great helm,

I have a couple questions,

can you show a pic of the visor removed entirely?

Does the visor allow for the vervelles to fit underneath in the cheek area

so that the aventail would hang just below the chin?

I have to say it again Stanislav, that really is the most beautiful bascinet.

Vervelles are the pins in the helmet that hold the chain aventail to the helmet. Here is a picture. Danfrombham was asking if these go under the visor, I think.
